Antonella and Daniele. Two Milanesi in love with the Apulian Itria Valley. After many years of wandering around, renting trulli from others, we decided to do something crazy: buy an old, abandoned trullo in the countryside, filled with olive trees and, with Antonella's patience and Daniele's intuitions, bring it back to life.
We wanted to combine the original flavour of this land, inserting modern design objects alongside our grandmothers restored furniture, with particular attention to the comfort that a holiday requires.
By choosing materials typical of the area, installing solar panels and a column for recharging electric cars, recovering the old tank now dedicated to the collection of rainwater for the exclusive use of drains, we relentlessly worked to make sure our Trullanto had a green footprint.
To combat xylella, we planted 62 new olive trees, resistant to the bacterium, and others will follow. We constantly monitor the land, which has remained agricultural and is cared for with passion by the previous owner and farmer.
